cDAQ 9178 is not detecting

Hello Everyone,

 

I have cDAQ 9178 device and its no detecting on my computer. I mean to say The cDAQ is detected but when i connect the module to it then that module is not detected. Attaching the picture to clear my problem. I have downloaded latest driver

(16.1) using windows 10 operating system 64 bit. Please help me in this problem. Thanks in advance.

You haven't given a lot of information so please excuse my basic questions.

  • Did you reboot after installing the driver?
  • What does MAX say on the right side when you have a module selected?
  • What does Windows Device Manager say about the status of those devices?

And to answer your question about Win 10 64-bit, yes, it works with that OS. If it didn't the 9178 chassis wouldn't show up at all.

1) Yes I have restarted the computer after installing.

2) Attached please find the picture about what MAX says about when module is selected (filename- picture1.png)

3) Attached please find the picture about what  Windows Device Manager say about the status of those devices (filename- picture2.png)

hmm...88302 error...Try going up to Tools->Reset NI-DAQmx data (or some words like that) and reboot.

I already did that (Reset configuration data) and restarted but the result is same. Not working

I wish there was a better answer than repairing or uninstall/reinstall. These internal errors are a pain to resolve remotely, though. Can you try the suggestions in that KB?

i tried this also but in the signal express but eroor is  no device is found
