cDAQ 9189 Real-Time features

Dear all,

I have a cDAQ-9189 (firmware update 20.0.0) and LV2020 with RealTime Module installed and DAQmx 20.0 drivers. I would like to deploy an application on the cDAQ, according to the procedure described in the manual. However, in MAX, under Remote Systems, I cannot see the cDAQ. Moreover, if I open a LV project and try to add the resource as a RealTime target, it is not discovered. I'm attaching the NI MAX report with the information on the configuration on my system.

Dear valuzza, 

you should actually see your cDAQ under "My System-->Devices and INterfaces--> Network Devices--> NI-cDAQ-9189 "cDAQ9189-[serial number]".

cDAQ-9189 does not have a programmable controller. Only cDAQ-913x has.

You cannot use it with LabVIEW Real-Time module. Just use it like a regular USB or Ethernet cDAQ. You can access its I/O by running VI under My Computer.
