legacy DAQ in MAX Configuration window

I have LabVIEW 7.1, and in MAX under Software it indicates NI-DAQmx v8.8 and Traditional NI-DAQ v7.4.4. When I expand Devices and Interfaces, only NI-DAQmx Devices ppears with the DAQ board listed (PCI-6221: "Dev1"). The VI I need to ru uses the traditioal DAQ. When I run the VI I get an error message that the board needs to be configured. How can I get Traditional DAQ to apear in the Devices and Interfaces drop down so I can configure the board? The VI is not easily updated to DAQmx.

Hi Paul,

The PCI-6221 is an M Series board.  M Series boards do not have support for the Traditional DAQ driver.
