log data using DAQ assistant- multiple channels

Hi,

I'm acquring data from 18 analog input channels simultaneously using DAQ assistant (NI USB 6289). My sampling rate is 10Khz and buffer size is 100k samples. I have a problem in the way the data is acquired.

Sometimes the data logged into the file is from a different channel (its getting mixed up). It is different each time if i click run to acquire. Please help me as soon as possible to fix this problem and tell why this is doing so.

Hey Easwar,

How are you determining that the channels are getting mixed up? Also, do the channels get mixed up on the graph? You can also enable TDMS logging in the DAQ Assistant VI and see if you get the same behavior because I am curious to see whether it is DAQ Assistant or Write to Measurement File mixing up the signals.
