ni usb 6008 daq wrong voltage when using test panel

i am trying to do loopback test for my ni usb 6008 daq, following the description in the manual. even though i vary the voltage, i cant get the voltage i chose.. you can see in the picture attached, i set the parameter as 0 to 5v but there is still voltage below 0.

All of the actual physical ranges on the 6008 are bipolar so what you have is normal. Setting the range on the screen tells the driver to pick the closest actual range.

So you are having a problem setting an output? I did not get that from your original post.

What do you have connected to what?  I can't find the setup you are talking about.

What voltage are you trying to output?

My initial guess is that you don't want to have a Differential configuration, you want Referenced Single Ended (RSE).

the example video above shows how to control the voltage input and shows the output. but i cant replicate the example no matter what i try. it will always shows the voltage like my previous attachment

I'm not going to watch an hour long video to help you figure this out.  I don't have time for that.  So please answer these questions:

How exactly do you have the DAQ wired up?  And don't foget a single wire.

What are you setting the output voltage to?
