pci-mio-16e-4(6040E) and windows xp(64 bit) compatibility

Hi,

Is PCI-MIO-16E-4 compatible with Windows XP(64 bit)? I could not find any specific driver for XP 64 bit.

Thanks in advance

Hello ondemir,

Neither Traditional NI-DAQ nor NI-DAQmx supportes Windows XP 64-bit.   NI-DAQmx 9.0.2 supports both Vista 64-bit and Windows 7 64-bit with native 64-bit function support if you need 64-bit performance.  This driver version also supports the PCI-MIO-16E-4.

Regarding a PCI-MIO-16E-4 card.  I have a Win10 64 bit LV 2018 system.  What is the newest system that I can use this card in?

Thanks,

Chuck

Hi Chuck,

The PCI-MIO-16E-4 card is supported by the latest version of NI-DAQmx driver (found on the NI-DAQmx 18.6 readme). The NI-DAQmx 18.6 driver is compatible with Windows 10 (according to the NI-DAQmx 18.6 download "supported OS" section and the NI-DAQmx and Windows Compatibility Guide)The LabVIEW and Microsoft Windows Compatibility Guide shows that LabVIEW 2018 is compatible with Windows 10.

Therefore, the newest system you'd be able to use that card is on a Windows 10 system with LabVIEW 2018, running NI-DAQmx 18.6.
