Solved!

Hello,

I am trying to locate a document on NIs site listing devices supporting expanded selection in DAQmx. However, I can't. Anyone knowing this?

Thanks in advance,

You can find if a card supports channel expansion by looking into the manuals of the particular device. In general, X and S series Cards will support channel expansion.

Hi Kyle,

I tried to locate that info but maybe I overlooked it. I am particularly interested in NI-9234 (4x DSA) for cDAQ and cRIO.

Thanks in advance,

I checked it out and it seems that I saw it somewhere else than on the usermanual. I apologise.

A search on our main site led to this knowledgebase http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/78E44565FD87E7D686257108007F94F8 . Which explains what can and cannot perform channel expansion. So as long as you know the Series of your device, you can find out if it is possible.
