Cannot download Multisim 14.2 on desktop

 Good morning everyone, well i'm using multisim in class for uni.

i have multisim on my laptop, which i installed about a month ago, but now when i go to the website it will not let me download 14.2 version of multisim.

i need 14.2 as i run windows 7, not windows 10.

14.3 won't work on windows 7, it wants windows 10.


Also, am i allowed to use the same educational license from my laptop to my desktop ?

I use the desktop when at home, save my files to USB and continue working on them when i'm at uni using the laptop. ( that's the goal )

any help would be appreciated. Thank you 🙂

Did you receive the license from your university? If so, they can download 14.2 if they have SSP active with the academic license.

unfortunately, i don't think that will work as we're told to go to the website, download and install using the student email we sign up with 😕

Please inform the university of the following:

• A new version was just released which only supports Windows 10
• Non-paying users can only download the latest version.
• If the university needs to support students who run Windows 7, they can probably download 14.2, depending on their license, and provide it to the students.
• If the university needs assistance regarding this situation, they can reach out to their sales contact at NI.

Another option is to run a Windows 10 virtual machine on your system.
