Copying certain items - they don't paste aligned to the grid

If I take certain items - such as a graphics object I've drawn, and copy it - it doesn't paste aligned to the grid.  It's about a half-unit off.  I can't move it to make it aligned again.

A basic UI issue such as this is something that should *not* happen.   Is there any sort of workaround?

Hi,

When using graphics, you should be aware of the center point of your item.

When you select two or more object, th center pint will be recalcualted and moved towards the grid...

If you need to chnage the grid, go to the grid settings:

-right click outside your PCB

-got to the grids and units tab

under 'grid step name, select copper grid and choose the step value.

this will define the grid with which step your item moves

note that the viasual grid is independent of these step grids
