Tien,
I appreciate that, but the error message prevents me from continuing so a part never gets created.
I suspect the issue is that the .cir file is not purely text. I'll keep you posted. I'm looking to see if there are any6 characters that need to be stripped out.

Tien,
That wasn't it. The file had 2 extended ascii characters in the comments near the top, but removing them didn't change anything. Attached is the message I receive when I click "next" after loading the model from the file.

To add to the confusion, I just had an engineer on a different machine download the file I posted earlier, that you were able to get to work, and he receives the same error at step 5 of the creation wizard.

Hi EDL,
I see the problem now. In seems that in V13, if the main model is calling other models, all models being called have to be inside the main model. Using the OPA140 as an example, look for the main model end statement which is the following line:
.ENDS OPA140
Cut this line out and scroll to the bottom of the model and paste this line on the last line of the model

Thanks for your patience. That seems to have fixed it although I recall having tried that previously. Oh well...seems to work now.
Thank you again for your time.

Trying to create a 3 Phase motor in Multisim 14 . But gives the same problem.
Sequences i used:
1 - opened the component wizard.
2 - step 2
3- step 3
4- step 4
5- step 5
6- selecting model maker ACmotor
7- made no changes.
8 - clicked ok it appears a code with a ACIND3p name
9 - after clicking on next - the code name changes to 3PHASE_MOTOR and the message appers... i´ve tried to change back, but every time you do this and click next, the name changes again.
The codes before and after are in txt files attached. Plz help.
Tried to create this motor in Multisim 13, in another machine, and worked fine.
I´ve tried to create a diode in this multisim 14 and everything worked fine...just the ac motor is not working. didn´t tried other type of component.
