In this meeting, Jesse Batsche and Cecilia Brookshier from DMC shared how LabVIEW, PXI, and NI Instrumentation was applied to perform hardware-in-the-loop validation of the Battery Management System that serves as the “brains” for the battery backpack worn by NASA’s Robonaut 2. The pair also presented a live demo of the software capabilities of the NI BTS (Battery Test System), highlighting how VeriStand, TestStand, LabVIEW, and SystemLink can be used together to create a comprehensive solution for the automated validation of battery packs.
