NI ELVIS 3.0.7 problem with TargetAppGetConfigSetting

Hello!

I have a problem with old NI Elvis (first version). I install 3.0.7 version of drivers and ELVIS Traditional starts, but when I try to measure AC Voltage then I get Fatal Error, that says "labviewv.lib was unable to locate a suitable location to resolve "TargetAppGetConfigSetting". This may happen when too many instances of LabVIEW have been loaded into the same process".
Does anybody know what should I do?
I have LabView 15 SP1, Win7 32bit (same error with x64), DAQmx 17.1. Also changed labview.ini file with "AllowMultipleInstances=TRUE" parameter.

Thanks!

Hi!

I'm getting the same error on a custom built software based on LabView. Have you get the solution to this error?

Thank You.

Hello!

I removed LabView 15 and all NI components (drivers for PXI modules that we have), installed old 8.6 LabView and old drivers for PXI (don't remember version) and Elvis drivers 3.0.7. Now Elvis works fine, but unfortunately old drivers for PXI modules have different API, so my python (nifgen, nidmm) scripts are not working for now with PXI-4064, -5402.

I have a Python script that I use to access "traditional" NI modules. (I also work with NI-dmm etc. and created to work-around out of necessity) This might help in your case. If I had a link to ELVIS Traditional 3.0.7 software, I could test and let you know what works.

Any idea how to find the 3.0.7?
