Is there a way to scale images based on a length found, such that an image could be taken from any distance away from the main object under inspection, and then be able to (once recognizing a key feature with preconfigured data) be able to scale the image up (or scale all the inspection ROI's down) to the correct size. Kind of like an extension of the coordinate system, you have horizontal, vertical, and angular relativity; you now would also have scale relativity. you would pick a feature on the object that pretty much always remains constant, and now if that object that you created in the program at the size of 1000px, is now 500px everything will scale itself (or jus the image would scale itself) properly and the inspection would continue properly without being invalidated.
