This software allows users to run code on their computers to control LEGO® NXT Bricks and compile, download, and run LabVIEW code directly to the NXT. The new NXT Module 2009 represents a considerable improvement in features and usability over past versions.
The module can be downloaded here.
Please feel free to ask questions and provide feedback to NI R&D.

Hello,
There is a problem with this NXT module and the Mobile module. After installing the NXT module it is not possible to select a windows mobile target anymore. In the getting started window the target selector (in the low left hand corner) is disappeared.
Best regards,

Vincent,
Very good question. The NXT Module, like many LabVIEW modules, modifies the Getting Started Window. As you pointed out, after installing the NXT module several of the options you used to have are either missing or modified. This was done to simply the Getting Started Window for new users, and display the most relevant information for NXT.
All that being said it can be undone!!
Go to C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2009\resource\modes\NXT and rename the file NXT.xml to NXT.xml.bak (or remove the file completely). The next time you launch LabVIEW you should see the same Getting Started Window you had before installing the NXT module.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Cheers,
Mark

Hi BLAQmx,
I like the concept of developers creating blocks which users can then connect and configure themselves though a simple front panel (exactly what MINDSTORMS acheives).
Is it possible to use the GUI and dragable block concept for regular Labview programs?
Thanks,
Mark.

Hello Mark,
Has the NXT Mindstorms module totally disappeared for LabVIEW 2009?
