Hi ayiep,
Official support for Linux Real-Time on our PXI systems was added in the LabVIEW 2019 software stack and in NI Drivers 19.0 and later. As such, you should work in LabVIEW 2019 or later if you plan to use Linux Real-Time with a PXI system.
Here are some additional resources that may help:

I want to change NI PXIe 8840 QC from windows to Linux RT.
follow this steps.
Now I have changed the boot and get into Linux safemode.
But when I formdisk from MAX, the MAX crashed.
I wander if I can use the "nisystemimage set" command to setup the Linux image.
And I don't known how to get the base image file for my PXI.
And If it still not success, How Could I change back to windows?☹️
Thanks very much!

Try going to MAX and installing some software in your PXI, there it will propt a windows giving you steps to install the base file. Try to install it. Also, if MAX crashed there is a kinda high probability that the fromating was succesful. If it was not, MAX will ask you to format first.
