TestStand Version Selector: active version query

Status: New

I haven't been able to figure out how to use the cmd prompt to query which TS version is active. Is this possible? if not, it would be nice to have.

This is done by looking at the path of the registered version of the Engine, then looking in the registry to see what path matches the path of the Engine.

It might be easier to just create an instance of the Engine and query its version in an executable.  However, this can be a little slow to start the Engine so it might not be ideal.

Probably not the ideal solution, but i wanted to mention that you can get the active version from the registry. I posted the details in this thread:
