Custom CSV Report

Hi I'm new in TestStand.
I want to create custom report in csv format, for that I used NI_BasicStep TimeReportGenerator.seq, I created header with <Create CSV Header> sequence, but I don't know how to change default columns or create new columns.

I will be grateful if you can help.

Hi,

Since you are new to TestStand it may take time to understand and implement a custom report plugin that you are tyring to make.

You can probably describe what you want to do in your custom reporting so that people can suggest.

Alternatively did you try the data stream step types?

C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand 2021 (32-bit)\Examples\Fundamentals\Using Data Streams

Change the TestStand version as per your system.

This can be used to log data to .csv.

Check if this suffices your requirement.

You can check the Simple Text Report example and tweak it a little bit to have CSV format instead of this.
