Hello,
I'm a problem that is driving me crazy but sure is the simple resolution. We are working with teststand 4.1 and labview v8.6
Suddenly, in the Simple operator interface, the ExecutionView control has failed to show status and settings columns. Step and Description are OK.
From another PC with the same soft and running OK, i have copied the application files. Negative result.
I have also copied from the OK PC, the "Cfg\*.ini files" and the "Language\English\.ini" files. Negative result.
I hope any help could "iluminate" me.
Thanks,
Gonzalo.

Gonzalo,
regarding the status column, i imagine that you disabled the tracing in the engine. Please check that setting on your machine.
In addition, it might be possible that something messed up your local setting overrides. Those are located in the users-folder like
C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand 2010 SP1
hope this helps,
Norbert

If the columns are missing entirely, try searching for the file UserInterface.xml and then temporarily rename it to see if it makes a difference.

Hi Norbert B,
If I disable tracing in StationsOptions>Executing menu, then anything is displayed. only the tags of Name and Description.
Tomorrow I will try the setting override solution.
Thanks for your attention.
Regards,
Gonzalo.

Hello,
I had a similar problem today on a station. If you right click in the step viewer and hover over Step List Configuration then it was empty, and the only option was Edit Step List Configuration then it means that somehow those has been removed.
You can either create new ones or delete the file UserInterface.xml which recides in C:/Users/[Current User logged in]/AppData/Local/National Instruments/[Teststand Version Used]. The file will auto generate when you start the program again.
Note that this solution worked for us, and we are using the Test Stand API. This means that this problem might not be solved the same way if the problem is in TestStand.
