Hello OnlyOne,
please check your tracing settings under configure --> station options
they should look like this

Hi,
i checked the settings before running and after running. No changes - tracing is always activated.
I found out that it happens also when starting the sequence normally with the "play"-icon (not only with run selected tests).
I now disabled the model-sequence - but still not working. 😞

Hello OnlyOne,
i can´t reproduce this behaviour on WinXp, Win7 32Bit and Win7 64 Bit.
Have you tried to reproduce it on a second PC, if there is the same behaviour?
If you say that´s the same, if you run a sequence normally, then i think it could
be a corrupt installatoion. Please deinstall all, delete the folders and clean the registry
then start with a fresh installation.

Some questions/ideas to help us reproduce the problem:
1) Can you attach a sequence that reproduces the problem without using "Run Steps" and without using a process model (i.e. the only thing you are doing is Run Specific Sequence from the sequence editor menu).
2) When this happens does the caption of the sequence editor show that an execution is running?
3) Is the execution in anyway perhaps marked as hidden?
4) Does this happen only in the sequence editor or can you also reproduce it in a UI?
5) If it happens only in the sequence editor, you might try doing "Reset UI Configuration..." from the View menu of the sequence editor and see if that helps.

I was using the attached sequence from Duffy2007 on page on1
2) When this happens does the caption of the sequence editor show that an execution is running?
Yes, the title shows "running"
3) Is the execution in anyway perhaps marked as hidden?
No
4) Does this happen only in the sequence editor or can you also reproduce it in a UI?
Not tested in UI.
5) If it happens only in the sequence editor, you might try doing "Reset UI Configuration..." from the View menu of the sequence editor and see if that helps.
THIS WAS THE SOLUTION. AFTER DOING THIS IT WORKS!
So today it seems to be solved. Will check in the next days/weeks if it stays like this.
Thank you verya much for this tip.

No problem. If that worked it means the layout file (i.e. settings for the UI layout) somehow got into a bad state. If you ever figure out how to make it happen again, let us know.
Thanks,
