After an extensive round of evaluation, we are pleased to announce the finalists for NIYANTRA 2013.

I think so the results are genuine..But shortlisting only 5 finalists creates diassapointment and discouragement for the participants since we have worked hard for it.Atleast providing r emailing a format of participation certificates to the top 50 r else number of finalists will be helpful for budding engineers like us,as "NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS" is such a big company,even its participation certificates are valid for us in future ..

what is the criteria of the merit on the basis of which you selected only five teams out of hundreds of project? Point out the demerits of our project which are not satisfying your criteria of  selection. We dont think the projects you selected are having innovative and new ideas.

@subh: Only colleges with good names are selected I think. Its really irritating. All our hard work for this competition is a waste. Atleast they must provide us with some participation certificates if they are really a good organization.

this is really dissappointing , i worked for almost 11 months to develope the code 2 labview.. and NI selected those people who appoached the project centers 4

making their project,, wat about students thode who are really talented? NI stinks...

If you can Google For Landmine detection And surveillance in Land as well as water using HOVERCARFT WITH an Aid of LABVIEW control, you will get only 2 links in world wide especially LABVIEW based System is not available in the World on what basis you rejected our system which is one of the innovative idea towards defence application.IT is completely Ridiculous and DISAPPOINTING.....

I can understand your dissapointments. But we must understand that each one has their own selection criteria which cannot be questioned sometimes. You have lot of other contests where you can participate. Targetting indivisuals on for forums like this could be avoided. All the Bst for everyone!! Keep Trying. Well for your kind information for those who doubt my side..even my project is not selected..

Bro even i also worked hard for it latenights,not only us several other friends like us also tried well,because last year erthey have more in number.we should not blame anyone..Let us hope they may revise and increase the finalists..Atleast if they provide participation certificates for us it will be good..and it doesnot matter for such an INTERNATIONAL COMPANY to provide them..LET US SEE..

I hope Mr.bhupinder singh sir will consider our hardwork and do favour for us..

when i saw rules and regulations for second round ..i have seen statement that our efforts will not get wasted ,but i dont think that statement is fullfilled.what is the fun of selecting abstracts in first round which are not innovative .niyantra need to screen in first round itself.results of second round is highly discouraging

and unexpected too.what is the loss for niyantra if they select more no of people however in final round they are going to select the best atleast if they increase no of people ,the money ,time spent for niyantra by them will be meaning full.a student participating in this type of competition is not small thing lot of amount and time should be spent by them.we need justice..we will feel happy atleast if we get participation certificate from niyantra.

and our hard work and Time may have been considered, no problem. i like to ask a thing be half of all NIYANTRA 2013 participants except finalists.

At least provide us Certificate our hardwork and our valuable time which we spend for NI-YANTRA or Reconsider the selection.

i hate this result

we worked day and night very hard and u made our whole work meaningless

and i realized that this contest is not to encourage students instead publicity of ur product LABVIEW

if u are really interested in encourage student there are so many posts who got real talent and innovative ideas select them and send them to finals

NIyantra really sucked this time. Wanted to be a professional in commenting but all the hardwork went waste. Could not tolerate. I made 58 minutes of video with perfect details in it. I made it like a movie. This is totally unfair. Shame on you NI.
