Hey,
in the summary spec of the 4138 we find: analog out: max 10mA singing 3A.
In the detail spec we find: 330mA out at 10V.

Hi,
I have taken a look through the specificaitons for the device but can't seem to find where it states the figures you mention.
In general the output of the device has a maximum power output rather than specifically current. Figure 1 in the DEVICE SPECIFICATIONS shows the DC output limits.
Hope this helps clear things up a little?
Joe

yes, ok, thx.
We assumed the pdf doc is ok, but the summary specs on the site weren't.
I was also wondering why the PSUs like 4112 and 4110 have additional transformators delivered to attach to the PXI cards and the SMU not.
greetings,
koen.

It is likely that the PSUs can be used with an auxillary power supply and the SMU cannot because of the difference in their power handling capabilities.
The PXIe-4112 and PXI-4110 have a much higher power output than the PXIe-4138 and so require these auxiliary power supplies. The PXIe-4138 however can draw the power it needs from the chassis backplane.

Hey Joseph,
psu e.g. 4112 60W/ch (3ch)
smu 4138 20W/ch
I'm content with Your comment explaining auxiliary power supply for e.g. 4112.
summary spec today on site again with current spec -10mA - 10 mA ??? (see attach)
thx
