Error -88716 and DAQmx version conflicts

I am trying to configure a new LabVIEW v18.0.0 on a Win7 PC as well as a PXI chassis (PXIe-8135).  Everything installs on the PC with no issue including RT and FPGA modules.  I allowed the system to do updates to make sure all the drivers were current.  When I connect to the PXI chassis with NI Max, all slot modules are in except one (PXIe-6363). It shows Error -88716 (Error1 image), so I tried to update the RT drivers as suggested in other posts and the knowledge-base.  I see when I go to Add/Remove software that only one item has the Bang icon (Error2 image).  So this tells me the software updates raised my host system to v18.5 and the PXI is on 18.0.  No biggie.  I check that icon to install and a whole host of other items are selected to install as well (Error4 image).  I could only assume that this is OK, so I started the install.

I immediately get a pop up that two items cannot install because they seem to be dependent on the 18.0 version (Error5 image).

I tried uninstalling LV completely and reinstalling without allowing updates.  When I looked at the PXIe-6363 module, it had the same error as before.  I'm not sure where the 18.1.0f0 version came from, but I'm now stuck.  Should I trying to force an upgrade, downgrade, or something in between?  It's been better than a decade since I worked with a LabVIEW system, so any help is greatly appreciated.

Follow up:

As a test, I tried to downgrade the DAQmx driver from 18.1 to 18.0 on the RT system.

I get a notice that PXIe-6386/96 requires DAQmx 18.1.  I don't have this device in the system.  I have the PXIe-6363.

Why would it complain about conflicts for hardware that doesn't exist?  Is it a 63xx family issue?

I will likely uninstall everything in the morning and try again.

Would it be helpful to remove the offending module from the chassis and then reinstall it after getting all the DAQmx drivers updated to 18.5?

Solved my issue.  I uninstalled the PXIe-6386/96 driver from the RT system which allowed me to downgrade the DAQmx version from 18.1 to 18.0.  I did have an error come up on the RT system for a missing NIHWDBDD.dll.  The DLL already existed on the system as seen in the FTP folder, but I recopied it anyway from the NI install directory and that fixed it.  The system is up and running now with no errors.

I guess all the recent version updates have not been fully vetted to work with current devices.

This is also true for 19.1 platform installer.  There are no notes that this new platform installer is incompatible with NI Linux Real-Time but it generates error -88176 when test panels are initiated.  I'll post if I find a recent version that supports NI Linux Real-Time.  

The 19.1 platform image installs NI-DAQmx 19.5.0f0 and Real-Time Linux support for 19.1.0.49155-0+f3 which is incompatible with the host version
