Hi,
I am currently using the PXI-6040e board to send an analog output sinewave to my setup (f = 40 kH, sample rate = 360 kHz)
My setup receives this signal looking something like this:
I've noticed that I am not sampling at the ideal moment (which means that the highest sampling 'zone' would be at the maximum of the sine) and there for I would like to add a short delay to my AO sample clock in order to improve this problem.
In the attachment you can find the VI that I use to generate this sine wave.
Can anyone help me with implementing this delay? The problem is I don't quite understand where I have to implement this delay and wether or not it is actually possible.
Kind regards,
Dieter
(PS.: I know that increasing the sample rate would improve the top-location of my sine-wave but this is not possible due to other limitiations in my setup which are not important here. )

Hello Dieter,
I managed to come across the following documentation. This might be something that can help you. Is this what you are looking for?
How Can I Configure the Sample Clock Delay in NI-DAQmx?
