PXI-1033 Driver

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I have a PXI-1033 chassis only without the 'Driver CD-ROM containing NI PXI chassis software'.

I am not sure which software/driver I need to download on the Internet.

Can someone help me please?

Thanks a lot!

The PXI-1033 uses the NI PXI Platform Services driver. You can find the most recent release of the driver here:

https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/drivers/download.pxi-platform-services.html

The newest version of the driver (19.5) still supports the PXI-1033. If you have questions about what driver version supports what hardware, you can find this information here:

https://www.ni.com/en-us/support/documentation/compatibility/15/ni-pxi-platform-services-hardware-support.html

If you're curious about which driver version supports which operating system, you can find that information here:

https://www.ni.com/en-us/support/documentation/compatibility/15/ni-pxi-platform-services-operating-system-support.html

Thanks for your reply. I have installed the PXI-1033 and host card with PC. But after power up, only power LED is on but the Link LED is off.

Could you please give me some suggestion please?

Thanks !

I'd recommend running through our MXI-Express Compatibility and Connectivity Troubleshooting Guide.

In your case, it sounds more like Symptom 2, so just skip to that section. Pay attention to the proper boot order as well: Power on the PXI-1033, then (while connected to the host card), power on the computer.
