Hello,

You can use LabVIEW Real Time module on this controller. The latest version is 2016.

In regards of the simulink models here is a KB explaining about it:

There is also a module that you can buy: http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/207268

Hi,

thank you for reply but i have some more fundamental questions.

1. chassis 1042 with (pxi controller 8187 and pxi card ) is not detected in host pc

i am trying lan cable with cross connections and straight connections . but both cases i cannot see any indication of connection.

2. host pc has LV14, MAX 14,

3. i tried from MAX -> devices and interfaces-> identify as --> 8187 (identified but not .... pxisys.ini etc)

4. is there any way to check connection of host pc with controller.

Hello Dmic,

I really recommend that you post these specific questions in a new forum, because I have answered some of your questions related to RT, however there are people more experienced with PXI chassis itself. If you create a new forum this one will go to the proper customers/engineers more familiar with PXI chassis. They can help you better.
