Hi,
I'm trying to configure 5665 VSA MAX in the PXI system that I'm using but for some reasons, I am unable to do it.
When I right-click on the donwconverter, I'm only given two options: rename and open VISA test panel.
Also, the MAX itself looks a little odd.
I've attached a screenshot for our common reference.
Hope somebody can help me fix this.
Regards.

Hi Frenz,
Would it be possible for you to upload a higher resolution screen shot, as I can't see any of the details from the screen shot you have provided.
In the meantime, could you check that you have followed the getting started guide:
http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/375604g.pdf
In particular, I would ensure you have associated the the correct hardware for the device. The following is quoted in the getting started guide:
'For the NI 5665, you must associate the NI 5622 IF digitizer module and the NI 5653 LO source module with the NI 5603 or NI 5605 RF downconverter.'
Hope this helps

Hi, Nathan.
Here's an alternate snapshot.
Done resetting configuration data on MAX but the problem persists.

Hi Frenz,
Are you able to associate your NI 5622 & NI 5653 with the NI 5605 in MAX?
When the modules are associated, can you perform a self-test on each module?
Awaiting your reply,
Nathan

Unable to do it.
But it only happens on one particular chassis.
I tried it on a different one, the device association was easy.

Which model of chassis does it work in? And which chassis do you have problems?
Maybe the chassis model in not compatible?

Both are 1085.
So I'm not sure if it's the chassis or the embedded controller that's having an issue.

You could try updating all of the drivers and software on the non-working system.
Hope this helps.
