pxi 1052 scxi power issues

I am trying to power on the PXI-1052 chassis. AC power is being supplied to the rear AC inlet. The on/off standby switch located on the front of the chassis was turned on, and the system power LED is lit. The on/off standby switch located on the rear of the chassis was flipped on, however the SCXI power led is not lit. I started off with a DAQ PXI module in PXI slot 4, and an accelerometer SCXI module in the first SCXI module slot. After realizing that the SCXI was not supplying power, I removed all modules. At this point I don't have any PXI or SCXI modules inserted in the chassis. Any ideas why the SCXI chassis is not powering on??

Thanks.

vtme2008,

It sounds like there may be a problem with your chassis. Has it worked previously? Have you tried various outlets? Most often, if the SCXI side isn't powering on it is because the switch on back hasn't been turned on. However, seeing as you have done that, it sounds like there is a problem with the chassis and will need to be repaired.

There is a link on this site that will assist you in contacting NI in order to obtain RMA for repair.

Thanks for using NI forums!
