Cannot see topics in LV if sender is stopped and restarted

We are using RTI DDS for LV to communicate with a non-LV system.  What we are seeing if the publisher is stopped and restarted while the receiver (reader vi is running) communications stop.  It is necessary to stop and restart the VI (and sometimes the LV development environment) to reestablish communications.  The reader VI is the example reader VI generated by the RTI tool kit.

Sorry for the late response. Is the issue still persisting? Can you provide more details about it? Like DDS Toolkit version, LabVIEW version, bitness, system where you are running LabVIEW... Also providing the ctl file you are using (or an equivalent that reproduces the issue) so we can test it would be a great help.

thank you for the reply.  We have narrowed down the problem to an issue with QoS settings between the sender and RTI DDS.
