Cant connect to controller since setting up a permission password

I got the in the title described problem. I use a NI cRIO-9022. The controller looks up in the measurement and automation explorer but I cant configure it anymore. I always get an error "timeout - check network connection". Since I can find the controller even if I delete it, I dont think that a network problem causes the issue.

have you access to the FTP server over ftp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to the cRIO?

If you have installed the Web Configuration Tool you can access the controller over the browser http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

In MAX there is a login button have you tried this?

Can you format the controller?

I have solved the problem by reseting the ip configuration and reinstalling the software. Thanks for ur post.
