Control Dynamixel Robot Servo Actuators with compactRIO crio-9074

Hi,

I want to control 3 Dynamixel Robot Servo Actuators with a compactRIO crio-9074. How can I connect these to the compactrio?

I've got a NI 9870 serial module which I suspect can help, (also NI 9472, NI 9403 and NI 9201). I would prefer if the solutions can be purchased, but if necessary I can build a circuit.

The white paper that Tirmizi linked above looks great.

If the commands you require are not built into the download from the white paper, the documentation from Robotis' website should suffice to give you the proper serial commands to control the Dynamixels over serial.

The 9870 should work perfectly as far as hardware goes.  Which Dynamixels do you have?
