FPGA VI reference out error

I am trying to use "FPGA VI Reference out" function in my program but I am getting a broken line on the reference line . The error says "You have connected two terminals of different types. The source type is user defined refnum and the sink type is user defined refnum". I am pointing both the "Open FPGA VI reference" and the "FPGA VI reference out" to the same bit file. Please let me know what is the issue with this program.

Hi @mjm,

Would it be possible to post a screenshot of your block diagram? You should not have to explicitly point the FPGA VI Reference Out terminal to the same bitfile as in the Open FPGA VI Reference, as FPGA VI Reference Out should be the same as what you wire into the FPGA VI Reference In.
