A circular buffer is a data structure of a fixed size that operates as if its ends were connected together to form a ring.  The circular buffer is a useful way to buffer data between two operations such as data acquisition and analysis.  It allows you to decouple and parallelize different operations which would normally be used in a sequential manner.  It is also useful in applications where operations using the same data set are happening at different intervals.

I cant get this install to work properly. When I try to install it says no software will install. Please advise

I can't install this "API"... I don't understand.
I selected my ...C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2012\ directory... 

I clicked on next, then i have a page with "Installation Summary
No software will be installed or removed."

Any idea?.... 😕

I just tried the installer on Windows 10 Enterprise v 1803 64-bit with LabVIEW 2019 32-bit, and everything installed fine. 

Can you provide more information on your setup and versions of the different SW involved.

The page also includes a smaller ZIP file with the raw files that you can manually copy into the ..\LabVIEWxxxx\user.lib\Circular Buffer folder.
