LabVIEW Tip: Add Custom Controls and VI’s to LabVIEW’s Palette

You can add your custom Controls and VI’s to LabVIEW’s palettes quite easily. This is very useful for code or controls that you find yourself using alot! All you need to do is save your *.ctl or *.vi file into the “user.lib” folder.

On LabVIEW 2014 this is typically located at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2014\user.lib

You can also create sub-folders to enable custom grouping of your VI’s or controls.
