Current Loop for a Digitizer (NI-PXI-5160)

Hello,

     How do you interface a 4 to 20ma Pressure Xdcr to a NI-PXI-Digitizer?

The digitizer has a BNC voltage input, but not a 'current loop' (4 to 20ma) input.

I could wire a 250ohm resistor to the input, and configure the digitizer input to 1Mohm; however, the problem is, that the negative side of the input is tied to 'ground' internal to the digitizer.

Are you using a 2 or 4 channel PXIe-5160? Also, can you explain a little bit more about your application and what you are trying to do?
