bidirectional converter for NI PCI 6259

Hello everyone,

I am an electronics engineering intern, and I am working on a project that I will briefly explain to you. My project consists of designing a test bench for the automatic verification of electronic boards for an electric interlocking system. To test the proper functioning of these boards, I used an NI PCIe 6259 acquisition board to generate and acquire different signals from the boards that I want to test. To generate and acquire these signals, I used intermediate transformation blocks between the acquisition board and the board to be tested. These blocks serve to adapt the signals to the measurement ranges of the acquisition board. Attached, you will find a circuit (which I designed myself). This circuit is used to convert the digital signal from 0-5V to 0-12V (when I want to generate a signal from the acquisition board similar to the "Alarm_SF6" signal of the electronic board that I want to test), because the acquisition board can only provide 0-5V, while the signal that I want to simulate is a digital signal (Alarm_SF6) that represents a voltage of 0 or 12V. On the other hand, this circuit also serves to convert the 0-12V digital signal to 0-5V using the same line. The problem here is that I have a doubt whether the circuit is good or not. Does it comply with the voltage-current specifications, and does it not present any risk of damaging the acquisition board? Do I need to modify the circuit and add protections? If so, what should I modify on this circuit?

I would like to inform you that the signal I want to manipulate (Alarm_SF6) is the output of the electronic component "CD4093" for board "A" that I want to test, and at the input of the same type of component for another board "B" to be tested.
