How does Systemlink licensing work if tester is running on Linux

I have a customer who wants to run a test application on a Linux PC, developed in C/C++.

They are looking into connecting their test system to Systemlink.

We are looking at using the HTTP API as part of their test application to connect to Systemlink and send test results.

Just curious, how does licensing work with this? 

1. Obviously systemlink client doesn't run on Linux, so we can't show up in Systemlink as a "system".

2. Is the Test Monitor license on the server side, and therefore will this work ok?

Yes, the node license is implemented on the server side.

@santo_13 has the correct technical answer. 

It's important to also note that even though the Linux system can't have a version of the client installed, it is still considered a node from the point of view of the EULA. This means that a node license needs to be purchased to have that Linux machine communicate with SystemLink via the APIs.
