RoboRio 2.0 Stop Powering Up

Hi,

We purchased one Nov 21, 2023. It was working fine but recently stopped powering up (i.e. power light is off). We swapped with our old RoboRio 2.0 and confirm the old one does work.

From another thread, we've tried: removing the SD card, inspecting the slot for metal shards (hold upside down and shake vigorously), then re-seat the card but has no luck.

We saw the following suggestion, should we try that next? Please kindly advise.

Open the device using the four screws on the back and the two screws at the port port and clean the unit off using compressed air. (Maybe also use a flashlight to inspect the board closely for any remaining metal shards and remove them as well.)

Yes, he told me NI team is going to contact us on further steps for the repair and I just got an email of a Fedex package coming.
