Roborio2 Unrecoverable error

Roborio2  has status light showing unrecoverable error.  Continuous blinking  (no RSL light was on)

We did the 4 things suggested from another thread including:

Reimaging the SD card

Tried reimaging with another SD card

Made sure there is no debris in the device.  Used compressed air.  

After we did this, the Power light went to red, status light went out but the RSL light did turn on -- turned on to solid red..   

This happens with the same with both SD cards that we reimaged.  

Not sure if this helps but if I power up the Rio without the SD card, we get a green power light and continuous blinking status light

Update to our original post.  

I took the Roborio apart again and gave it another good blast with air underneath all of the 5V rails.  

Must have been some debris underneath the rails between the pins and the board because after putting it back together, it is now running normally.
