The UI/UX Designer will design interfaces for a variety of highly interactive practical applications using design savvy and refined design sensibility.

Responsibilities:

• Works with a multi disciplinarian team to analyze and build UI/UX needs
• Works to drive UI/UX initiatives from concept to a defined user scenario
• Assume overall user interface design of applications and work with development teams, content developers, users, and others
• Stay abreast of changing UX design technologies and understand leading-edge interpretation and execution of design applications including mobile
• Develop UI/UX designs flows and architecture for interactive complex projects
• Sketch/communicate user experiences, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a user-centered design environment
• User interface and design experience
• Technically proficient with the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, etc.), HTML5, DHTML, JavaScript
• Comfortable and fluent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to lead the process of designing complex transactional interfaces, taxonomies, and metadata frameworks
• Demonstrated experience developing user experience architectures (comprised of wireframes, sitemaps, user interaction scenarios, and prototypes) for multi-channel applications
• Possess a portfolio of user process flows, site maps, and wireframes
• Passion about latest trends in interactive experiences across a variety of mediums with a strong desire for innovation
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, written, problem solving, oral, and diagrammatic communication skills
• Ability to ask appropriate questions and communicate effectively and persuasively to convey solutions both internally and to the client.
