I noticed the slider you posted was pretty much what I wanted, so I took that as my spring board. I basically poked around and did trial and error modding with your control along with looking at the post by joerg.hampel - http://www.ieee.li/pdf/viewgraphs/creating_quality_uis_with_labview.pdf - to figure out how to do basic stuff.
