Hi,
I'm looking for zoom in / zoom out menu to edit my large code labview.
But I can't find any information of how to do that. Maybe it's not possible?
I use LV11.
Or available at LV12?. I have update to LV12 but not yet installed
Any ideas of a workaround?
Best regards

This question, and the resultant arguments happen a lot.
Windows' magnifier can be used to zoom in.
I would argue the other way; zoom out shouldn't be needed. Zoom in should be available for working on small terminals on a big screen with bad eyes.

When working on Mac OS X (LabVIEW for Mac or LabVIEW for Windows in a virtual machine) you can use the operating system's built in zoom function (holding the control key and scrolling up or down in my case). I use it literally all the time on a MacBook Pro 17" at 1920x1080.

GerdW & Ed Pinkney,
Zoom I'm referring is like in visio. And I need both. Sometimes have to zoom out to see the whole of block diagram, From top to bottom. But the solutions you provide are pretty helpful. Thank You. ...
Joerg.hampel,
if I try on my desktop doesn't work. I am using windows.
Thank you for the advice

Hi Rif,
zoom out to see all from top to bottom?
- Style guide says: block diagramm shall be limited to screen size!
- zooming out doesn't help when it comes to nested structures like case/event/disable/stacked sequence structures, it makes it even harder to see the contents...
- use subVIs (as before: bd size limited to screen size) to organize your program's structure...

Of course, but sometimes we inherit code that needs refactoring and therefore we're placed in a situation where zooming would be useful. But sure, in this case use the navigation window.
There is a tool for zooming Windows screens, free, callled ZoomIt. I don't use it myself but I'm told you can use special keyboard combinations to enable it, allowing you to zoom into the screen for viewing/editing.

In Windows 7, there are two things you can do to make the magnifier more usable:
Personally, even with these two features, I don't use the magnifier too often, because it's still not convenient enough.
