Informations about NI USRP 2954R

Hi,

I'am using the USRP2954R.

I am trying to download its corresponding firmware and fpga image (using UHD).

I wonder how can I have information about my usrp board:

- Series (E-Series or X300-Series ...)

- Product name

- Type

Hello there,

You can find the according information by running the uhd_find_devices.exe from C:\Program Files\UHD\bin with the connected USRP. Also, I would recommend using the NI-USRP Configuration Utility, which does the recognition of the according software automatically.

If you need to update the firmware of your USRP and FPGA Image, it's better to use the NI-USRP Configuration Utility, as described in the getting started guide.

Actually no,

I want to do what USRP Configuration Utilities allows me to do (change the device name, its IP@, update its fpga image ...) but with UHD.

On this page you can find the instructions on the naming of a USRP device. From the left submenu you can change the category of the topic (Firmware and FPGA Images, Device Synchronization, etc.) in question and find the instructions there.
