Modify USRP 2954R firmware to do a task autonomously

Hi everybody,

i'm working with a USRP 2954R with PXI cable using LabVIEW 2018 32bit and LabVIEW FPGA; i've modified the template Simple Streaming (i used this as reference one) both in Sw and Hw; in particular, i've modified the main FPGA VI in a way that it generate a signal samples in the Hw level to transmit them directly; I would like to modify the firmware device (or the FPGA image) to do this task independently and as soon as i turn on the device. Is that possible? And how can i do??

Unfortunately, it is not possible to make it work without the host interface.

For a standalone device you may consider the USRP-2974.
