NI 2944 ethernet connection

Can we replace the PCI EXPRESS connection by fast ethernet connection ???

I know this is possible for the ETTUS counterpart

I saw that you posted twice so I'm going to ignore that post and reply on this one.

Yes, you can connect using ethernet but there are a few things to keep in mind.

1. You have to have our NI-USRP driver installed, not LabVIEW FPGA, to access the USRP RIO.

2. Just like the 2920, you have to make sure that the IP address is on the same subnet.

The link above has the table under "setup network" where you can see what the default IP address is for whatever connection you're planning on using. Just make sure they're on the same subnet and you should be good to go.
