Using USRP 2954R with ethernet

Hi everybody,

i-m working with a USRP 2954R with PXI cable with LabVIEW 2018 32bit; i'm working both with LabVIEW and LabVIEW FPGA, and i have some questions:

1. If i work in software domain, how could i use the ethernet link (i already have the SFP adapter for the ethernet connection) to launch a template? In detail, i want to use a simple template, like the Simple Streaming, with low and high sample rate, using ethernet for launch the acquisition and plot the data. I've already connected the device by ethernet but i can only ping the device;
2. If i modify the FPGA VI, and i compile it in PXI connection, can i use the modified template in ethernet connection?
