Determine usage of Single Seat Licenses

Hi,

besides my LabVIEW MSLPA, I have several single seat licenses of TestStand and Multisim (amount too small to integrate into  my license server) running on PC that are available for a lot of people here. Does anyone have an idea how to monitor the usage of those licenses? I tried to take a look at the Win application protocol, but I couldn't  find any entries for those software packages.

Any ideas are appreciated!

Hi Oli,

The only way I am aware of to monitor usage is through NI Volume License Manager or FLEXlm.

Hi David,

since the number of licenses we're using is too small to be integrated into the License Server, your proposal unfortunately doesn't work for me... but thanks for the comment anyway!

I found a freeware tool, I'm evaluating at the moment, but no results yet.

Hi David,

I decided to use a freeware tool called KIWI Application monitor (I don't know if I'm supposed to have a link to the homepage here, but I'm sure Google will find ;-). There is also a Pro-version with a lot of fancy statistics, I don't need. For the time being, the tools serves well for me, for the future I have to find a way to have it running invisibly in the background.
