SLUGs meeting Tuesday October 24th @ 7pm

We are back!  SLUGs have a new home.  The meeting will be held at:

On Tuesday October 24th from 7-9pm.

The main presentation will be a demo of LabVIEW NXG 2.0.  I will be showing off the latest beta build and we will explore the features and current limitations of NXG as well as talk about what to expect in the future.

If you are interested in presenting a medium or short topic to the group, please let me know.  We should have time for a second presentation at the meeting.  Otherwise, we will just focus on NXG and maybe open the floor to general LabVIEW discussions.

I plan to also discuss future meetings and get input on how the new location works for everyone and how often we should meet.

Just a reminder to let me know if you are coming to the meeting.  We need to make sure we have enough food to feed everyone.

I have been working on my NXG presentation and I am thinking I might just walk us through some basics of the new system live instead of a powerpoint.  That will let us discuss and discover how it works together.  The group can guide the discussion that way instead of me just showing you what I think is important.

If you have the chance to download the beta and set it up on your machine, bring it to the meeting so you can follow along with me.  I highly recommend installing it in a virtual machine and not your main system.
