Display data from crossbow digital input

I am having another problem with the Labview Vi's created to work with Crossbow's motes. I was able to get the example vi's to work correctly and then display such information as the sensor's health correctly. However, I'm just trying to get labview to display the status of the digital input pins. I have an indicator wired to time stamp output of the Read.vi block and that is able to display the time correctly. I also have the data output wired to an indicator but it just displays garbled symbols when I run the vi. I have the Read.vi block configured for RAW 1 sensor 1 point. Can someone help me with this problem? I am using MIB520 base station, MPR2600 motes and MDA300 sensor boards. Thanks for any help.

I'm assuming you are using this Crossbow XMesh WSN instrument driver and are referring to the included examples VIs, is that correct? Unfortunately, this instrument driver is provided "as is" and is not supported by National Instruments, so I'm not as familiar with the communication. It may be worthwhile on your end to contact the manufacturer to confirm what results are expected when wiring an indicator to the data output of the Read.vi configured for RAW»Single Sensor»Single Point, so we also have an idea of how the acquired data is different.
