 Hey edwad,

I am a little confused with your question. Do you mean..

1) You have an external clock that you want to use to take pulse width measurements.

Or do you mean

2) You want to measure the pulse width of a external clock?

Here are three good examples that measure a pulse width of a signal.

The first example above will allow you to read in pulse widths until the stop condition is met. In the example the stop condition is the stop button OR an error in the DAQ occurs. You can add more stop conditions to this to match the functionality you want.
