Hello,
Do I need to buy a individual license for XLR8 for each machine that I deploy my program too or do I only need one lecense that I'm develping on?
Is there a way to set the Wrap Text attribute with XLR8? For example, I want a string like "The Little Brown Fox" to look like:
The
Little
Brown
Fox
Thanks,

Hi Ben,
deployment is free. If your code is built on a licensed developer machine you can deploy it without activating.
A developer license is valid for one developer and can be used on up to two computers.
As for the Wrap Text attribute: we actually just added this to our feature list for V2.1 due in late fall.
Currently, if you are working with a template, you can set the property in the file in MS Excel. XLR8 will keep the cell property when writing text to it.
Cheers

Great, thanks, that's exacty what I needed to know.
I noticed that when I set a use the Font Area function to change a range of cells to Bold that it also Underlines them. How do I turn off the underlining?
Thanks,

Hi Ben,
it´s good to hear that we were able to answer your question before.
The constant underlining in the "Font Area" - function is a bug.
Thank you for this important notification!
If the developing works like scheduled this bug will be fixed in V2.1.
Thanks,
Hajo

Hi Ben,
underlining is fixed and wrapping of text supported in V 2.1 of XLR8.
Contact me to get the latest beta version. We will soon release it to the LVTN.

Peter,
Thanks, I’ll check it out on LVTN.
Are there any plans for supporting .xlsb files?

Ben,
sorry but we currently don't plan to support XLSB.
If you prefer a binary format over the XLSX you could go to the "old" XLS format.
